Privacy
How Center Court ProAm handles your information, on this website and in the Center Court iPhone app. Last updated 20 August 2026.
Who we are
Center Court ProAm is a charity tennis tournament raising money for The Center, A NY 501c3. Questions about anything on this page: centercourt@scclive.org.
What we collect, and why
- Donations and purchases. Your name, email, phone and any message you write. We need these to send a receipt, thank you properly, and credit the player you supported.
- Card details. Handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers and we never store them.
- Photos and videos you post. The picture or clip, any caption, the players you tag, and the name you posted under.
- Your email, verified once. Before posting to the event feed we email you a code. This keeps a real contact behind public posts.
- A device identifier. The app generates a random ID for your phone so a like counts once, you can delete your own comments, and you can find the merchandise you have already paid for. It is not the advertising identifier and it tells us nothing about you.
- Player registration. If you enter the tournament: your contact details, division, clothing sizes and photo.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you across other apps and websites. There is no advertising SDK and no analytics profile built about you.
Who else sees it
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Bloomerang — the beneficiary's donor records, so gifts are receipted and acknowledged.
- Amazon Web Services — live video from the courts, while a match is streaming.
- Our email provider — to send receipts, verification codes and pickup codes.
Live streams and the event feed
Matches are streamed publicly during the event, so you may appear on camera if you are courtside. Anything posted to the feed is reviewed by an organizer before it is published, and we remove posts and comments on request. If something in the feed shouldn't be there, tell us at centercourt@scclive.org and we will take it down.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Junior players are registered by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Keeping and deleting information
Donation records are kept as long as the charity's accounting and tax obligations require. Feed posts and comments are kept for the life of the event site. You can ask us to delete anything you have submitted — including your posts, your comments and your contact details — by emailing centercourt@scclive.org. We will confirm when it is done.
